“BBUN” model is a machine for cutting from solid and external grinding of all thread types – metric, withwort, trapezoidal, saw-tooth, round, special, etc., which is provided by A-axis swiveling range ±40°. It is suitable for flexible and mass production. The model classification is done based on work part length. Internal thread diameter range is from Ø3 – Ø200 mm, while the smallest pitch is 0,25 mm. Maximum thread grinding length is 60 mm for BBUN 150 and 120 mm for BBUN 300 model. The applications which are commonly ground on this machine model are related to thread gauges and various types of nuts (ball screw, power steering, etc.).

It is available in CNC option only. Basic customization is related to turret wheelhead – B-Axis, with additional equipment according to the grinding requirement, primary in one set up. A combination of spindles for external and high-frequency spindles for internal grinding. The advantage of this machine model is that there is a possibility to install 4 grinding spindles, where different combinations of cylindrical and thread grinding can be performed. Various wheeldresser types provides single- and multi-rib grinding, with constant and variable thread pitch. Software package for thread grinding facilitates the operator’s work, with the use of a customized graphic interface, for easier adjustment of program parameters.
